Registration Payment Option

GREAT NEWS!! We are trying to ease the financial burden on so many families during these hard economic times.

This year, Little Rebel Cheerleading is continuing to offer a partial payment option with registration. At the time of registration, an initial payment must be made for the total registration fee ($124), and the remainder of the balance for uniform fees ($270)would be due by May 15, 2012. A reminder email will be sent on May 13th, to prompt everyone to make the second payment. It will be the parent's responsibility to go back into the registration system and make the second payment, to "complete" the registration. If the final payment is not made, the child's registration will be cancelled. If you would like to pay for the entire balance at the time of registration, that will still be an option for you at check out. Thanks!

2012 Cheerleading Registration

2012 Fall Cheerleading registration will take place this spring, for VH Rec Cheerleading 3/4- 3/18, and for Little Rebel Cheerleading from 3/26- 4/29. All registration forms and fees will be completed through the website. Registration signs and informational flyers will also be distributed at each Vestavia Hills Elementary School in the next few weeks.

Little Rebel Cheerleading -Required Time Commitment

In response to many of your questions, we would like to give a generalized idea of the time commitment that is required for Little Rebel Cheerleading. As with any team sport, it is important for each cheerleader to attend practices and games. (***Please see the note below, or the navigation bar to the Left, for specific information about VH Rec Cheerleading).

Practice times and locations are determined by each individual Squad Mom. Typically, most squads practice one time per week (weekend), during the football season. Many squads will begin practicing in late June or early July, to learn cheers and dance routines for the upcoming season.

Fall football games are played on weeknights, with one game being played each week. Games nights will vary from week to week. Home games are played at Liberty Park Field #10, which is located in the Soccer Complex. Please see the "Field Locations" tab for directions to away games. The official football schedule is released in August, when the Jefferson/Shelby Youth Football League has set the schedule.

Cheerleading Camp is held during the first week of August, and is recommended, but not mandatory, for all cheerleaders. It is a fun time for all of the girls, and provides valuable time for each squad to have extra practice together.

Uniform Fitting Day

NEW this YEAR- schedule your child's fitting time!!!

Uniform Fitting Day will take place on Sunday, May 6, Monday, May 7,and Thursday, May 10, 2012, at the Vestavia Civic Center. Uniform fitting is mandatory, so all cheerleaders should be on time to their scheduled fitting appointment. Please see the Uniform Fitting Day tab for fitting schedule and new sign up information.
